Application Scope
1、Drug preparation: Used in the manufacture of medicines, mordants and tanning agents.
2、Resolving agent: Commonly used to resolve racemic basic compounds.
3、Acidulant: Better sour taste than malic acid and lactic acid, widely used in food additives.
4、Preparation of Fehling's reagent: Potassium sodium tartrate is used to detect the aldehyde group functional group in organic molecules.
5、Piezoelectric effect material: Rochelle salt (potassium sodium tartrate) crystal can be made into piezoelectric components, which are applied to receivers and pickups.
6、Antiparasitic drug: Potassium antimonyl tartrate (tartar emetic) is used to treat schistosomiasis.
